Protecting the health of every child means setting clear rules for when children may attend and when they must stay home. This keeps illness from spreading.

🩺The following policy details symptoms that require exclusion, steps we take when children become sick, and how children may return.

• Children may not attend with fever (100°F+), vomiting, diarrhea, contagious rashes, pink eye, lice, or COVID-like symptoms.

• Sick children must be picked up within one hour.

• Children developing symptoms at daycare will be separated until pick-up.

• A doctor’s note may be required for return.

• Parents must inform the provider within 24 hours if diagnosed with a communicable disease.
